Simple Mobile Payment Options for Subscribers

Simple Mobile Payment Options

Just woke up and haven’t heard your significant others sappy custom ring tone yet? Has a good portion of the day passed and zero incoming or missed calls is making you feel a bit unpopular?

Don’t worry!  He/She still loves you and your friends haven’t forgotten about you. But you did ignore the 3 text messages about making your Simple Mobile payment on-time and your service has now been suspended.

Your not alone:

  •  43% of prepaid consumers pay their bill the day suspension is set to occur.
  • 22% have their service suspended due to non-payment on a regular basis and admit they had the money and just forgot to pay.

So please, don’t feel so bad! It’s one of the many benefits and flexible options you get with prepaid cell phone service.

Fortunately, Simply Mobile payment options have come along way in the last few years. Understanding your options will give you the flexibility to pay in the way that’s most convenient for your lifestyle.

Simple Mobile Payment Options (Website)

These options for paying your Simple Mobile payment are available to you directly though the Simple Mobile Reup portal.

  • ReUp - Just enter in your telephone number and enter your credit card payment. No login required.
  • Stash - You can prepay your monthly Simple Mobile payment ahead of time. Login is required.
  • My Account – Pay with a credit card on file when you want to pay. Login is required (and adding your cards information)
  • Pin Number – You can buy a PIN reup card in some retail shops and attach to your number/account directly.

Helpful Payment Tips:

  • When you create an account, you can also add a credit card on file and automatically set to debit this funding source on the payment due date.
  • Simple Mobile website has improved, but making a payment via some mobile web browsers can have issues. “Request Desktop Mode” if possible from mobile or try to use a desktop PC.

Pin Number Reup by Text Message

If you received a pin number by purchasing a reup pin code, you can apply this pin without the need (or if you’re unable to) via text message.

  • Text REUP#PIN# and send to 848484

Helpful Tips:

  • Even if your service has been suspended, you can still text a reup via a pin code.
  • You must do this from the active line of the suspended account. This doesn’t have to be the exact handset. You could take your sim card out and put it in another unlocked/compatible device and text the reup code from your line via a different handset.
  • Do NOT use a third party texting application that relays your text messages via an internet connection or mobile data.

Simple Mobile Payment via Phone

When you just want to speak to a human, you can call Simple Mobile customer service and apply a pin number.

Call 1-877-878-7908 and follow the voice prompts.

  • This is for adding pin codes to your account/number.
  • You could have significant hold times.
  • Simple Mobile customer service is outsourced to the Philippines.
  • They cannot accept a credit/debit card over the phone!
  • In some cases, you can authorize your identify and have them process a payment method already attached to your account via ReUp or Stash.

Payments Via 3rd Party Providers:

Making a payment via a 3rd party provider is really one of the best choices available. Most of the reputable bill payment providers offer all the advantages of making your Simple Mobile payment via the official website but offer additional value added services. Some of which are listed below:

  • Additional reminder notifications – You can get reminders via text and e-mail with configurable notification days based on your needs.
  • Flexible Payment Options – Many 3rd part payment processors will offer methods such as PayPal, Google Wallet etc.
  • Loyalty and Bonus Rewards – Simple Mobile provides these ReUp / Stash values at a discount to these providers. Increasing competition to earn your repetitive long term bill payments can save you some money.

In addition, many of these providers do have telephone and online support that will give you overall better support and can process a payment over the phone. There business existence is about processing your payment as easy as possible so you can expect the service level will be dramatically better than calling Simple Mobile customer service number.

Helpful Tips:

  • Be careful when choosing a 3rd party provider for making your payments. Scam sites do exist.
  • Expect that first time users/accounts could have a verification process. Many times they will make a phone call to the billing address contact number on file before applying the first order. Don’t be surprised if it takes a few hours the first time around but rest assured it becomes smooth sailing on repeat orders.

Payments via Mobile Apps

I knew it wouldn’t take long before someone created a 3rd party mobile app to make payments. Check Apple’s App Store and Android’s Play Store.

Again, be careful with what you download and who you hand over your information to.

MySimplePhones.com Review – Have you bought from them?

MySimpleMobile.com Review

MySimpleMobile.com Review

Simple Mobile last year had a phone portal that had a bunch of different providers for phones on their website under the shop section. Now all of that’s pretty much disappeared and everything points to mysimplephones.com . After searching around for these guys on the internet and through their website, you can see that it’s a company called Quality One Wireless or Q1W.net . They must be a Simple Mobile master agent or dealer and provide phones for Simple Mobile customers. I wasn’t able to find any reviews for these guys anywhere on the internet. I looked everywhere!

The phone prices seem high prices but their a little bit under the price of buying the same model without a contract from some of the major carriers. They offer some low end phones too. I’m worried if I buy one of these phones if it will be refurbished or if it will be really new.

  • Has anyone bought a phone from the Simple Mobile approved list?
  • If so, were the phones really new?
  • How quickly did they ship?
  • And any issues with customer service or returns if any issues?

Please comment if you’ve purchased from this company and your experience with them. Thank you

How to Unlock My Simple Mobile Sim Card

How to Unlock My Simple Mobile Sim Card

How to Unlock My Simple Mobile Sim Card

So you just decided to join Simple Mobile and you’ve grabbed a new Sim Card. Now you’re wondering how to unlock my simple mobile sim card so you can get talking and be on your way to using one of the best prepaid providers ON THE PLANET!!! Yea, ok … so you’re really asking the wrong question. You can’t physically unlock a sim card. The sim card is on Simple Mobile and can only be used on Simple Mobile so I don’t think you would want to do that.

Did you mean to ask “How do I unlock my phone so I can use my simple mobile sim card”. Probably. …so you should go and get an unlock code from eBay or a local store provider and then you’ll be able to insert your new Simple Mobile sim card into your unlocked cell phone and be talking!

Yahhhhh!!!! Simple Mobile!

WTF is “Trac ‘N’ Save” by Tracfone doing on MSM Site?

Recently I was browsing on the MySimpleMobile.com to check on the rad new page layout they had on their homepage. Ranting in another direction, I’ve always thought mysimplemobile.com had the coolest pagelayout of all the prepaid carriers. Anyways, back to the blog article on Trac N Save.

This Trac N Save is on the Simple Mobile website under the shop icon.

I’m Thinking it’s some sort of new promotion Simple Mobile is running so I click on the link and I see some website that has some deals on school supplies, FedEx.com and Newspapers. OMG are you kidding me? Who allowed this junk to be linked from Simple Mobile’s website?

  6. 5% off Coupon from Lonovo.

You have to be logged in to the Trac N Save site to actually see the deals. It must be EXCLUSIVE.

Not that saving money isn’t cool these days, but this is Simple Mobile. You know, the company that was bought for 200 Million Dollars by the RICHEST man in the WORLD. What the heck is some affiliate site doing linked to the simple mobile main website? Some VP at Tracfone , Simple Mobile or maybe even Carlos Slims wife schemed her Multi-Level Marketing idea with her girlfriends to get on the main page.

This is simply in the wrong place and I just don’t get it.

Apparently this is listed all over Tracfones other sister prepaid carrier website as well.

Is the Tracfone Brand suffering that bad they have to display Multi-Level Marketing ads on their pre-paid carrier websites to make extra money??? Someone give me an explanation!!!!

Will Simple Mobile work in Canada?

Simple Mobile is a prepaid carrier utilizing the T-Mobile network within the United States. You’re not able to use the Simple Mobile service when roaming in Canada. There is no option or additional service that allows this coverage either. When you go with a pre-paid carrier, you’re going with the bargain brand. This isn’t expected and is typical with prepaid cell phone carriers.

If you need another option besides Simple Mobile if you’re traveling to or from Canada, you should be able to find other prepaid cards in airports and other stops where you enter and exit the country. Roam Mobility is one of them I know of.

Most Simple Mobile phones are unlocked for use in other countries but I would make sure your phone is before traveling. Some Simple Mobile phones would not work in Canada because the phone was actually a T-Mobile branded phone and did not require unlocking to use Simple Mobile.

Should you get Simple Mobile on iPhone 5 ?

If you’ve questioned if you should get Simple Mobile service on your iPhone 5 you might want to consider a few things first. The iPhone 5 is a whopping $250 more than the iPhone 4s right now. The main feature upgrades from the iPhone 4s to the iPhone 5 that users will actually notice and use are:

  • A bit larger screen.
  • A little bit better processor
  • Ability to work on 4g network

With the cost being so high for the iPhone 5, you wouldn’t be taking advantage of the 4G network on Simple Mobile. Only 3G will work.  All in all, I would say that it’s not worth it until maybe iPhone 5s comes out and the price of the iPhone 5 drops by a lot. Unless you just want to impress, buying the iPhone 5 for Simple Mobile doesn’t make sense.

Get through to Simple Mobile customer support fast

Tired of being hung up on? Not getting your issue resolved? Here are a few ways to get through to Simple Mobile’s customer service department and get the job done.

1.877.878.7908 - This is their main number.

  • When the prompt asks you if you’re a dealer or a customer, hit the option for dealer.
  • If the agent on the line asks you for your dealer number, tell them you were transferred to this department and don’t want to be transferred again. Ask firmly but politely.
  • The agent has all the same tools and can help you and in most cases will probably give you better support and have more knowledge than other representatives.

This happened to me a few days ago on accident. When I made a comment about the short wait on the dealer line the customer service representative explained that the regular customer service line usually had 4-5X the wait.

Give it 2-3 minutes as well. Many times users are impatient and start over again thinking that it’s not working. It could take a few minutes to register with the towers and display on your phone.
